Our Sales and Marketing Generalist - Client Services team focuses on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell clients brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluate their pricing strategies in the marketplace.

Job purpose :

To support the C&M function in delivering quality and relevant programmes that drive business growth and to grow management capabilities through direct responsibility for specific programmes.

Requirements:

Education Qualification:

Bachelor of Commerce or similar; university undergraduate degree.

Professional Qualification:

Chartered Institute of Marketing: Diploma in Professional Marketing or similar

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in industry or professional services including; 1-3 years in marketing / communications / business development

Specialist Knowledge required for the role:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications and analytical abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to learn systems and processes that support the business, and to deliver expected outcomes using those systems (such as systems and outcomes related to Salesforce; post-event Client Feedback; marketing plans to give exposure to and build profile of industry/LoS/SME leaders; managing communications and campaigns - with support of C&M Assistant; local events management - including management of nationally-driven events taking place in the WC; local planning and execution of CSI calendar, assessment and execution of local requests, and proactive planning for local investment - with administrative support of C&M Assistant)

  • Demonstrate leadership and ownership of programmes / projects / campaigns and demonstrate the capacity for managing programmes, assessing related risks, taking responsibility and leading others (whether direct reports or otherwise)

  • Contribute to efforts to track ROI (e.g. engagement and/or business from events / profile building etc. through tools like Salesforce) and show mindfulness of this responsibility

  • Show maturity and ability to interact with senior PwC people and act on feedback

  • Drive innovation and ensure that job shadowing can cover any absences (due to leave, secondments, illness, etc.)

  • Interact positively with members of the C&M management team, demonstrating a consistent commitment to delivering quality work, meeting deadlines and communicating clearly

Main Duties:

Senior associate responsibilities require a high level of flexibility, maturity and creativity. At times, the responsibilities may be support-related, such as developing reporting. A senior associate would handle these responsibilities, perhaps with the secondary support of an associate, but take primary responsibility for the quality of these efforts. Attention to detail and quality work are primary responsibilities that distinguish a senior associate from their more junior associate counterparts. Senior associates are also responsible for ‘owning’ programmes with a reporting line to a C&M manager or C&M senior manager, meaning their performance objectives would include delivery of outcomes related to those programmes and day-to-day management of the programme’s deliverables.

Responsibilities:

* Planning and coordinating firm and client events (both internal and external), including supplier and client relations

* Strategically assessing and proactively proposing local marketing / sponsorship / brand awareness opportunities, and executing on approved initiatives

* Preparing and presenting plans for approval for specific projects (e.g. events and CSI initiatives)

* Executing on CSI calendar (including establishing and managing project teams)

* Oversight of promotional store (primarily run by Marketing Assistant)

* Execute on local and national-driven internal office communications (including preparation of certain internal office communications and/or review of comms prepared by Marketing Assistant)

* Tracking deliverables and spend and reporting accordingly to various stakeholders

* Primary responsibility for the quality and delivery of specific programmes, with manager oversight

* Programme-specific responsibilities of a firmwide nature, with manager oversight

* Demonstrate 'ownership' and attention to detail (all responsibilities)
